For this project, I designed a how-to hiking website in Figma, aimed at inspiring people to get outside and enjoy nature. The site includes both desktop and mobile layouts, shifting from a two-column structure on desktop to a streamlined single-column layout on mobile for a smooth, responsive experience. I incorporated a warm, travel-postcard aesthetic and used my set of custom camping icons to help guide users visually through each section.
Design Focus
My focus for this project centered on building a clear, user-friendly experience that feels inviting and practical. I explored responsive layout design, hierarchy, and visual storytelling, bringing together thoughtful typography, color, photography, and iconography to create a cohesive and engaging site. The result is a project that blends functional UX with a sense of adventure, encouraging users to feel excited and prepared to hit the trail.
