For this project, I designed and coded a one-page webpage based on the song Orange Blood by Mt. Joy. I pulled a ton of inspiration from designer Louise Fili. I was so intrigued by her bold, expressive typography. I even used one of her typefaces from Adobe Fonts to bring that style to life.

I started by creating the full layout in Adobe Illustrator, focusing on a warm, vintage feel that reflects the mood of the song. Once the design was locked in, I hand-coded the entire page using HTML and CSS, turning the static concept into a fully functioning site where users can listen to the track while reading the lyrics. I also included external links so visitors can explore more of Mt. Joy’s music and check out the band’s website.
